Review Detail of Thedumbdaoist in Cards of Fate

This novel was a pretty good read! Though I can't compare it to more popular novels that are on the front page or have rankings, for someone's first novel, this is much better than what I expected. The grammar needs to be touched up in some parts, but it is acceptable. The story's interesting, with the Joker being a nice bit of comedic relief and lightening up what would otherwise be a pretty dark story. The demon king is a good bit of lore, although I don't get why he would think that his son would 'snatch' the thrown from him. Usually, the eldest son only inherits the throne after the original king is already dead unless he usurps him. Personally, I think it would've made more sense if he was jealous because some other noble's son or his eldest nephew was doing better than his own son, so he killed him and his father causing an uproar which then caused the other events to happen. That's just my personal nitpicking though and other than that, the plot is pretty good. The characters seem interesting and the world-building, well, it's only been 3 chapters so I can't really rate that yet. Overall, it has a lot of potential! Will be reading!
