It's not trash like the previous trial reads I'll give it that. It reads like a novel that without a brain dead mc, illogical thought processes, motives and actions etc. I'm comparison to the previous trial reads. It's gold. I'm comparison to normal novels with good writing. It's slightly above average. Still has lots of potential but whether it's potential to go downhill or uphill remains to be seen. Another trait of this gold. The previous trial reads were so obviously trash most of them screamed trash in the very first chapter. In this story at least you have to read it for a while to make your decision. But overall, for the first 20 chapters I've got a pretty good impression of the novel.

First of all, the raw is this one: 恐怖复苏:从稻草人到恐惧魔神! I read the first few chapters, and while it seems promissing so far it made me wonder once again on how easily many MC for these novels accept their new reality. Here the MC died while at home, apparently from nowhere, and almost immediatly accepted that he died and that he needed to cause fear in the hearts of all living beings. I mean, didn't he had any attachment to his previous life? Like, at all? I know some can say he probably didn't had family or friends, which is okay although it's still stretching to say he had ZERO ties with Earth, but then came the part where he, and many other MC's, start to kill others left and right without any remorse. That old speach of how he is not human anymore could be used but after a time had passed with him being a non-human, he was a human less than a second ago and already changed his mind, something similar can be said for the killing, okay that he needed to kill to survive, but he and the others almost never strugle to come to that, like, they had been normal persons some minutes ago and they changed their stance on killing just like that in a snap. I'm not saying they should be throwing up or anything, or having a book lenght drama on this topic, but man they could at least make like they had been not some loner with no attachment to their older life and a apparently a potential killers that just needed a slight push to go over the edge. Anyway, the novels so far is not bad, I just felt like I needed to bring this point up.

This is such a niche book, the MC is true evil and lots of gore. This is fine if that's is only the downside but there is so much more. First, the plot is so fast-paced, the MC grows too fast, and his enemy all stupid and dies easily. Second, the plot armor is so blatant, like how easy and lucky the MC avoid death because some super OP enemy has a thing to do and give task hunting MC to his/her colleague, which essentially power leveling the MC by feeding the MC his/her colleague's lives. Third. the MC system, power, and world plot are very vague even though the MC already begin to become somewhat a powerhouse in his area, so we still can't gauge how strong the humans, the MC, the anomaly, or anything. Fourth, the MC is only evil and have no personality either than killing, and since almost all his enemy always died in few chapters, we can't see anything interesting about their character growth or building. Basically, this novel only upside is the gore and killing, but no substance, with minimal world-building, character-building, and simple plot. At first, I don't understand why people rate this novel so highly at 4,5+, but then I remember that sociopaths and psychopaths all have zero to minimal emotion or empathy and like to see those gore and blood. Since this novel has no story to relate to or character to sympathize with, this is somewhat a perfect novel for those types of people, who just want to read the gore without substance or story. That is why I said this is a niche novel, good for a psycho who wants to vent their imagination because they cant do it in real life. Because hey there is a lot of psychos out there who abide by society and they need something to vent right? Rather than start hurting others, maybe this novel can become their venting outlet. For any normal reader who especially likes a story, this is such a trash novel.

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.

Earth's Greatest Magus

#Top 20 Webnovel Best Sellers 2021, 2022, 2023, and in 2024 #### History is said to be written by the victors. If so, how about Earth's history? Two millennia ago, a young boy named Emery met a tragic fate. In his final moments, he was transmigrated and accepted into the Universe's most prestigious school of magic. “You are among the chosen few from thousands of human worlds. Whether you seize this opportunity or not, is up to you. You are at Magus Academy, the pinnacle of humanity's ingenuity. Magic, science, and might are all within reach for those who dare to pursue them." [Scan complete - Quadruple affinity. Water, Earth, Plant, and Darkness.] "A quadruple acolyte! Only one in tens of thousands of acolytes possess this!" Thus began Emery’s journey together with his 4 friends from the furthest corner of Earth. Each year they returned to Earth to grow, seek revenge, save the princess, conquer the world, and become Earth's Greatest Magus. Their names are still etched in our history books to this day. Authors Note: I have always been fascinated by writing fantasy relating to historical facts. In this story, you will find characters inspired by real-world myth and legend. The universe I created hopefully will make the reader's imagination excited and logically plausible. I hope you enjoy it. ### Here are some key aspects you'll encounter: MC: The protagonist follows the classic weak-to-strong arc. World: Picture a blend of Harry Potter and Star Wars. System: While it's primarily a magic-based story, there's a structured system in place that's easy to follow. Additionally, elements of cultivation. Harem: No, there are several female interests. But I enjoy romance first. So even if there will be more than one love interest it will be deep. Note: English is not my first language, but you'll notice that my writing and English skills gradually improve throughout the chapters. Other: The novel delves into deep research on science and history, enriching the storyline with factual and intriguing details. Give it a read—you might be pleasantly surprised by what unfolds. Armipotent

This is a work of fiction, any names, characters, stories or events, are fictitious! (Even the country in the story is just the author's fantasy as the author never visited those countries in the story) Armipotent is an archaic adjective meaning "strong in battle." Basically, it refers to someone who is physically tough in war. Originally, it was used to refer to the Roman god of war, Mars. ===================== Tang Shaoyang, an orphan who dropped out of the middle school to fight on the street as he found out school was useless for a penniless orphan like him. Tang Shaoyang dropped out of his school, fighting on the street, and made a name for himself. Berserker Tang from Youyouliucun. Afterward, Dragon Wing triad recruited him and everything was good for him. Even though the public deemed him as a tumor of society, Tang Shaoyang was having a decent life. Until one day, everything changed as an absurd and strange game started. "... Game starts! Stage one: Survival for The Fittest!" After the game started, zombies appeared out of nowhere. ... Ding! "You have killed 1000 zombies less than 24 hours since the game started! You gained 3 Talents!" Dong! "You may choose 3 Talents! please choose carefully!" Tang Shaoyang held his chin and mused what Talent he had to choose. "With Zombies appear everywhere, I need an infinite strength... this is one, I still need to choose 2 Talents more..." Then a lewd smile formed on his lips. "I want an infinite strength, charm and charisma to conquer women, and the last one, I want to upgrade my **** so I can please my women!" After saying this, Tang Shaoyang laughed aloud. "Hahaha, there's no way such talent exists... ehhhhh?!!!" Ding! Dong! "3 Talents are consumed! You have been granted Divine Body! Good Luck, Gamer Tang Shaoyang!" Tang Shaoyang immediately checked the detail of Divine Body. After a brief silence, he muttered unbelievably. "Such Talents really exist..."
