Could've been a perfect harem novel without the yuri, I don't get why Haruko still seeks comfort and affection to her girls when Ruki already came back. Found it baffling that she doesn't even want her affection for them to be diminished as if MC wasn't enough for her, hopefully she throw that affection away in the future to focus on MC no matter how cruel it is. It is also out of character for the MC to he non-competitive and even let her and her girls still love each other.. Can't even find a harem without yuri in it sigh.. Overall this novel is very good if you ignore the yuri harem, I feel like the story wouldn't even change much if you cast them aside.

While I sorta agree with your sentiment, I also love this novel very much to the point I made a cover for it (yes im the one who made the new covers). The yuri is holding it back, in my opinion atleast. Just that I hope they all fully invest on Ruki after he conquered all of her girls... That's what I want to happen atleast.. :( Though even if I was somehow heartbroken about that, I still support this novel very much so.
let's also not forget that haruko doesnt even want her affection for them to be diminished, ive totally lost hope now. don't get me wrong though, i dont totally hate this novel. in fact, i do like it very much. unfortunately it had its flaws i couldnt accept, but despite that, i'm still reading it anyways. also nice cover, do Yue next time, she's one of the most anticipated girls.

honestly, the moment she shelved the idea of making them her gifts for ruki's desire.. it kinda got worse. she dug too deep and its too late to back out now, so i see no hope for her fully investing on ruki. it's bitter but i'm still holding onto that tiny hope.

and she doesn't want her affection for them to be diminished, which i find bull**. she's just too CONTROVERSIAL. if she really wanted to be a "good wife" to ruki. least she could do is drop that and fully focus on him. if not now, then it should be in the future. i would've been fine with the whole thing if there was no romantic feelings involved, but yeah.... there's one. sigh
