When the book was in pilot read, I picked this book. The ml was a fresh breath of air (Not your usual cold ml with every quality). I loved his antics a lot. Especially how he can infuriate you just by some religious lines. However, I couldn't read it with the same tempo like in the beginning because the story starting gets boring and boring. Although the story is in romance genre, it hasn't even have an r of romance. Fl is literally a dumb girl. I dunno why she was given a chance of reincarnation coz she is so slow to even avenge herself. In the later plot, They described India as a backward country and what not. It was fine if it was until its backwardness. However, you called one of the ancient civilization of world uneducated ,narrow-minded etc. Someone said it is even mocked that indian woman only wear saris and.... Well as an Indian I take pride in my culture, nationality and everything about it. Although India might not be perfect and have its shortcoming but we are improving. You don't know how diverse my India is. 27 states and 9 union territories are filled with diverse people. People next time talking about another country, do some proper research coz it's hella offensive to many people. it gives rise to rumors and negativity and dear as neighbours we don't want this. Happy writing .

Moreover, she wasn't deliberately trying to be offensive. It was just author's lack of knowledge and perhaps, she doesn't understand it .

Well, I don’t know if you haven’t noticed, but Asian novels are extremely racist. They firmly believe in colorism, so it’s not hard to see them have blind prejudice towards other countries with people that are not ‘milky white’. 😒 For example, there’s plenty of novels that use Africa as a place to be banished to, which is absurd because it’s a beautiful place. I’m very saddened to hear that they denigrate India. As Donny Miller once said, “In the age of information, ignorance is a choice.” Therefore, there’s no excuse for “not knowing” about India. I’ve never had the pleasure to visit, but it’s on my bucket list. Thank you for letting us know about this novel. I definitely will not be supporting such a disgusting, bigoted author.

Well, not all asian books. But most of the translated novels do talk about racism. And that Africa comment. I agree with you.

thank you for mentioning this, author seems to be petty and narrow minded. if they are ignorant, they should not choose to mention real country names and insult them. this shows how uncultured they are.
