the sypnopsis is actually so cringe and written terribly. just the mere fact that it says the top 10 conglomoterates is pitching in for a program, but only mentioning ONE city is stupid. and it's a typical one against the world cliche.

i agree man i didnt read this novel because the synopsis is like the world forsaken me and my family only which is like kinda f-cked up
Aion27:A synopsis is supposed to catch your attention and make you want to read the book. While people should still give a book with a bad synopsis a chance it doesn’t mean it is not improtant. Also, from what you said the synopsis is a huge lie and when an author can’t even get their synopsis to catch people’s attentions or just be a total lie why should it be the readers fault. While I do understand that most of these novel’s summaries are wrong in many ways most of them are just exaggerations of what the story is about. This one seems to be way too out there even for Webnovel. We are supposed to believe that everyone in the world wants to humiliate him just for having dreams of being better, it just sounds stupid. So while I get your point of being tired about people judging a book just by the summary instead reading it, it is actually what it is there for. I agree about giving it a try if your intrests are in the direction of what little you know about the story. For me personally I don’t usually enjoy stories that deal with technology or even urban stories, unless the summary or reviews really catch my attention. So I have not personally read this story myself since neither of those happened for me personally. For the genres I do like though I usually at least give the story a chance even if the synopsis doesn’t sound great. Since I do understand that these authors do have to write it themselves compared to a book where it is professionals at a publishing company writing them to catch people’s attentions.

The story has had a bad translator, I come from raw and the story is quite good, the bad thing about the translation can be seen as that for a long time there were repeated episodes and literally the synopsis, to my liking you should try it.
