Okay, let's leave the cringe worthy synopsis and focus on the world build based on the synopsis. How in the freaking world can they keep the MC and his family in the dark? human were social animals, he and his family would have friends, and they will then be notified, its a world wide program after all, there will be news on newspaper and net, or even word of mouth while they are prepping, its impossible for the MC and his family to never learn about it. Turn off your brain for some stereotypical nationalistic racist work. All the other countries are doing bad except blank country. Replaced china with the US, but it makes no difference. Also you’ll notice that another story about the encryption one is also in the US randomly. And both characters are named Raymond.
