Well, i think the reason there is the anonymous antagonist in the beginning of the story was to make a much more formidable foe than yuuki. Since its like this. A monster's rank depends on the amount of magicules one has. And author slapped that Heaven's Feel~ to our mc. So author made another antagonist that may or may not able to fight on par with mc. After all, if there is no crazy super op enemy, how can anyone in tensura can fight rimuru when he has OG rimuru's and his skills
