2020 was a tough year for everyone. Even world leaders managed to catch covid. Travel restrictions, job losses and in some cases people weren't able to visit a dying loved one. It was tough for me as well and I didn't write at all for almost a year. Earlier this year I started to get interested in dao and the writings of Lao-Tze. It's funny because so many novels are based on cultivation which is a mythical version of daoism. Let's be clear - It's not a religion its a philosophy. There is no moral authority in daoism. And a story began to form in my mind. It twisted and evolved and as usual I took inspiration from many places. Whether they were Dresden files, or jujutsu kaisen but most of all it was writing a story with a character who truly learned to live going with the flow. As usual there are many surprises and the hero will build from weak to strong. Most of all I hope you find it interesting. I wish you all the best in 2021 and beyond. I hope everyone has a better year and we can all put 2020 where it belongs. In the past.

LIKEA good cultivation novel I recommend is 'Beware of chicken' on royal road. Not your typical "Couldn't see Mount Tai" and "You seek death" junk you find in the clogged toilet. Doesn't follow typical daoist routes but is refreshing for those who've drowned in the brown sea. Might hold some nice ideas for your own works Author. Now to start reading this bad boy.

I'm not 100% certain what I'm doing. My thinking atm is to release 1 new Daedalus book this year on Amazon. 2022 could be 2? not sure.
13lack12ose:HI Skully, I just saw that you have removed Diadalus from RR. Will you be continuing to write this elsewhere? I'm a huge fan of it and would really like to read more! Cheers
