hi can you give me a bit of a spoiler? as much as i like the hate to love trope, i really do not enjoy the other woman trope , yes it is an arranged marriage but the guy had a love life prior to the fl coming in the picture and from browsing to chapter 10, the ml had honest feelings... my head cant wrap around it and it boils into something like betrayal in my head..... any way to change that or should i move on? ty

Back in 2018-19, I watched so many historical dramas that made me come up with this plot but yes, I have researched and read about the Han Dynasty before creating this story. The Female Lead is a Strong Character whose smartness and intelligence is shown after chapter 60 because in the earlier chapters she is trying to understand the Palace. So, please do not judge her character before that. The Male Lead is depicted as 'Cruel' because of a reason. As you will read the story, you will know about that too. Such a wonderful story! It has several great characters to read about, root for, and fall in love with....and a few we love to hate. Love the historical descriptions as well. This is my 2nd book from this Author and I'm sure the next will have me laughing and crying as well. I can't wait!

I was captivated by the end of chapter one and couldn’t stop reading until I read to the end. I truly appreciate the plot and the characters of this novel. I found that i was rooting for the ruthless crown prince and crown princess from the start. I’m highly recommending this novel! If you want to knit pick grammar, I found minor mistakes but nothing that took away from the plot or made me feel irritated enough to stop reading . Great job to the author and proofreader. Truly captivating ! 🤴🏻👸🏻🐲🐅⚔️❤️
