This excellently written although sometimes I am unclear in which time period this takes place. I assume it's in the 90s because they make references to the 1980's so forth. The author handles friendship, trauma, and love quite well. In a way, the characters have lived in this world for a period of time so it's making a huge introduction to anything. It's subtle in introducing characters in a personal sense and villain of the week and show perspectives of how villains function outside of fighting every other week. The novel comes to show the raw talents that are simply wasted because of childhood issues, circumstances, and decisions and how they affect who you are today. Shocker is such a great character just read it to truly understand. The only issue I have is the monologues could be shortened a bit. Also, Author how old is Black Cat in this ? Looking forward to the rest
