can someone tell me before I get invested in a story if the male lead is the one who took advantage of her in a druged state (raped) and left her pregnant and then never thought to look for her or take note of what happened afterwards? And is this one of the stories where she had twins but for some zany reason the male lead took the son And left the daughter behind? I don't want to invest time or money into a book whose romantic plot line revolves around the male lead raping the female lead into pregnancy and then hygiene happened and suddenly they're forced to be together because babies were involved and the male lead totally loves her now and he totally didn't mean to do all the awful things that led to her horrific life...

LIKEok. I read until chapter 50. He is the one who raped her. But apparently according to the author it's okay and wasn't raped because he was totally drugged as if that makes any sense. what disturbs me about this male lead is not that he is her original rapist but that he is inserting himself forcefully into her life once he finds out. He meets her outside of her office and grabs on her and sucks on her earlobe and stills DNA from her so that he could test the paternity and maternity results for his son and her daughter. He goes to her daughter's school without talking to her to talk to her daughter and still genetic material from The little girl. He finds out that he is the guy who got her pregnant and she is the mother of his son but he is still hiding it from her All in a bit to manipulate her. maybe he doesn't want her to realize that he is her rapist. And as of chapter 50 he comes in at the last moment to rescue her and her daughter from the bad guy and then uses that situation to emotionally blackmail her into agreeing to be his wife. also he keeps on holding her daughter and forcing kisses on her and won't let her go to her mother. And I'm sure all the readers who love this book think that it's totally sweet and doting. All I can see is a psychopath who used his power and money to investigate a situation and once he realizes the genetic material belonged to him he now is assuming ownership and stepping in where he isn't wanted yet. And the author is glossing over this fact and just making the female lead who is an idiot I might add get soft feelings for him. So yeah. as of chapter 50 he's emotionally blackmailing her into agreeing to be a fiance and he has yet to disclose the fact that he was the one who raped her that night and that she actually had a two children one of which was his son that he keeps using as a tool to get closer to her and that she was obviously schemed against. who knows when he will actually tell her this though. because according to the author he's just being sweet and doting on her and not actually a manipulative rapist
Thanks for the heads up! 👍🏻 I don't want to read these type of novels. They just make me mad about all the abuse that is glossed over. 😤😡🤬
