Came to wram people that there’s a bit of Chinese nationalism in this novel. I’ve read the raw to around chapter 200~ Around the piont where the invading alien demons speak english and has revolvers. You would think there would be no chinese nationalism in an translation novel but nooo, apparently not. Suffice to say this novel is not heading in a good direction. Readers be warned!

I finally finished reading the MTL and I do agree that eventually the novel does seem to be going into a certain direction that we all despise. But I found myself enjoying the novel much more than I thought I would. In 200~ chapters the novel has had: Tense moments, romance/relationships relatively early in the series (does look to be a harem though?), and certain unique aspects you typically don't see in other novels (his grass, formations, etc. I'm hopeful that for a few hundred more chapters that the demons don't get fully introduced because right now the novel is fine as is.

An issue I have with the novel is that the world hasn't really been explored. I hope we can get more world building when he reunites with one of the main heroines.

I don't understand why are you bringing nationalism into this. The setting in this story is not Earth, so why are you upset about the nationalism in the story?

Do you mean a transmigration novel? Because translated novels usually have some form of nationalism

Not all novels does it the good ones doesn’t bring real world politics into novels. No nonsense about evil english speaking gun weilding western agressors, it’s another world why are the alien demons speaking english? English is a specific language, one that’s born from a special circumstance a mix of both Germanic and Romance languages. Like if they want to portray Europe then why not use German or Latin? The author obviously chose English for a reason and I suspect that in future chapters the MC would start invading the English speaking alien demons and start slaughtering them.

Not really. My apologies for my earlier statement. I somehow did not catch the part of the sentence where the demons were specifically speaking English and carrying revolvers. However, I'd doubt the translation would indicate the nationalism at all, since the translation is in English and carrying revolvers would not have any indication of any race, ethnicity, country, or nation.

Though I like this novel and it's setting but I ain't gonna read if there is even a bit of racism. I mean let's be honest author had a choice to make demon purple, pink or whatever he wish and can simply make up that they have their own distinct language but no our dear author thought let's make white people demon with English language(I mean it's absurd to even think about it). I hate to say but this pathetic sense of author has taken my mood to even think about this novel. By the way thanks for info of racism from mtl.
