There's two types of OP characters. One, are characters that written to be very OP but still harmonise and drive the story/novel. The other, are those that simply stick out like a sore thumb in the story, like a burned pixel in a screen. The MC in the novel is the latter.

LIKEI wouldn't call it 2 types of op characters. One is an author who can make the story interesting despite having an invincible main character. And the other is an author writing for the sake of writing and can't make the story interesting. An example of the first is OPM and all those other similar pieces with invincible Mc. Superman for example, but he has a big weakness so not sure if it counts
