I don't usually give reviews, but I just can't not give a review for this novel since I'm literally looking forward to each chapter on a daily basis. Let's break this down: Story-wise, it's amazing. The adventures Hiro (MC) goes to doesn't feel overwhelming, in more than one way. I really loved his journey with Roger especially, and I teared up oh so many times with their interactions, both happy and sad. That is proof of good writing there. The best thing in my opinion of this book is the romantic relationship he has. The author built this character's romantic relationship on one spouse, and she is in no way neglected nor missing out in the writing. The relationship still feels enjoyable to read, and their interaction is still fresh. This may be a bias, but I very much agree with the thought process of the mc - that a harem is just a over glorified cheating. And this book is literal proof, that not having a harem is okay, and can still be a great book. The greatest accomplishment of this book (besides it being non harem and still great) is the character building that the author has created. It stared with a broken MC, but it changed with the people around him. But to be honest, I feel that the MC is the one that changes the people around him most, mostly into trolls, which is hilarious, but that's my opinion. The journey of character building has changed in such a pleasant direction the moment MC became a father too, and I'm loving every moment of it, though I would love some screen time with the chat group that was his wingman in the earlier chapters, I'm just enjoying this book so much. I am, at this point of writing this review, at Chp 143, and I cannot believe that this book has only been around for a slightly bit more than a month. The update frequency is insanely good, and I want to celebrate the author for that, along with some concern to not be burnt out because of feelings of obligation to post so frequently. I wanna end with just some words of appreciation to the author for writing such a wonderful fanfiction that has made my last month so much more enjoyable. I'm sorry that I can't support you financially, so I'll support you in ways that I can - through encouragement and positivity. Know that your creation is wonderful and I'm sure I can say this for many people, that we love your writing. Hope you stay safe and happy in these trying times. To the others seeing this review, send love to the author. Monkey really outdone himself with this book.
