It use to be 60 chapters then it became 40 then it's 5. What are you playing at? are you dumb or are your business mangers dumb?? I am done with your website/app/company, I have spent way over $7000 so far at webnovel. Thank you doing this I will stop reading books from your dumb website/app/company which does not care about the readers. (I am sure some idiots will come fight this comment saying "what about the author " mate they are getting paid A LOT MORE then aNORMAL BOOK!! calculate and use your head some time and you will figure it out or just be dumb" THIS is the reason people read ripped off versions because corporate get greedy and ruin a perfectly good website, you are ruining it for the authors as well. one word if the business manager reads "you are dumb for reducing the quality/quantity just so you can get more samples and churn out more novels we are here for quality not your corporate methods to take money from us"

LIKEwhile I agree with most of what you said. I'm calling you a liar. 7000$ and you don't even have the big money spender badge? what's the point of even saying that? to make it seem like WN lost a dedicated and wealthy user while in actuality you are just like the rest of us? poor paupers that occasionally splurge or go pirating?
Er from a logical standpoint...and on something considerably useless like this I disagree with you - knowing full well if i had that excess money to that extent(well I might be a bit more Frugal and have my ‘Useless expenses’ at a smaller percentage than you ) I would spend as well lol
TheOneWithBooks:I think it depends on your financial situation if its a idiotic thing to do or not. if you have the money I dont see why I cant endorse the authors. if you dont then it is very idiotic to spend that much I agree
People like you are retard, it's one thing if you are not satisfied with the amount of chapter but what up with this gradding? What did that novel did to you. Your rating is irrelevant to the novel and now one of the most anticipated novel of this batch got taken down because of retard lije you!!!
Depend bro. People with money and people without don't see the world the same. I remember that some guys used 70k dollars on FGO just to get a units he really wanted. For some people 70k is equal to several years of hard work. So yeah. The world work differently for different people

I actually don't see the point in spending money here, when you can read the same on other websites for free. I'm sure WN doesn't pay the money to the original authors, because I think they have the copyrights from the original authors who posted on their Chinese website. And the money they give to translators is very less I think, so no point in spending it here.
Honestly, there are so many things wrong with this site and I usually just end up using other sites to read the latest releases. Usually, American users can't do that since their IP Addresses are monitored for any piracy activities so they are limited in freedom, but I get what he is saying: you can't love a sight that doesn't love you back. I am a programmer so I know how easy it would be for webnovel to change the site to accommodate different fonts, bold, italics, tables and etc... but they don't do that... I think it's pretty cheap since RoyalRoaad and ScribbleHub does it without any problems. I like reading novels on Webnovel but I can't say that they balance monetary gain and comfortable reading experience, it's too much skewed towards monetary gain.
the answer is just to
SlimePlort:You're the reason they don't change. Always ready to complain, but when push comes to shove you bend yourself over and continue to spend. Their business model is successful because you make it successful. Spending money on this greedy site is the biggest irony.
