Honestly, I don't read fanfics for that much realism. Would prefer no romance at all instead of the realistic route. Or late romance. I've had to drop many fanfics because they wanted to go the "realistic" route and ruined the entire thing by being stuck to the idealism. Fantasy is an escape from reality. Though that could just be my tastes since I even liked the twilight imprinting to a small extent. But only if it's both ways.

You actually resonated with my own opinion on this, I won’t fall into the author trap of projecting my own bad experiences into my work. The pairing so far is between Morgan Lefay, and Bellatrix as they are the two women I feel could stand by him in the way he is going to develop.

I personally lean more towards Morgan. Not only because she is basically a blank slate that can be shaped to fit the MC and story. But also because Bellatrix is too deranged and fanatical to Voldemort. Going so far as to conceive his child even while married to someone else. It's also one way to branch away from Hogwarts as so many fanfic writers seem to be obsessed with it being the most important part of their work. Even though there is an entire world to explore and live the legends told to us today. Such as meeting Morgan and participating in the story of Merlin and Arthur.
