Calling a novel trash is a terrible thing to say. Next time come up with a detailed criticism, that way, the author can pick up on some things and grow. But outrightly calling a novel trash? That is just hurtful. If you have no detailed constructive criticism to give then don't write a review at all. Reviews like these here just kill other people's dream to write and it is so not nice.

Another thing, just because a novel isn't to your liking or you don't understand it doesn't make it trash. It just means it is not for you.
