This is one of the most interesting novel. The updates are not stable but I don't mind. The plot will not let you regret reading it. [img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend]

I’ll be honest here. I really liked this story the first time I read it. Even though I did not like Xi Ying at the beginning you eventually get to appreciate him a bit by the end. To me how he treated Li Rui was unforgivable no matter what, but I also did understand that they’re meant to be. The thing is I have read the book three times now and some things still do not set well with me till now. Whatever one may say you can’t refute the fact the Rui’s parents were not a good parents. They did not even believe her when the incident took place nor did they try to investigate what happened. Her father literally used his own daughter to protect his wife because in his eyes she was more important. He could not stand to see his wife in distress and unhappy, so he decided to sacrifice his daughter’s happiness for hers. Her mother is no better, until the end she could not even tell that most of the problems occurring in her daughters life and her family are related to her. Even Xi Ying said that she was a very stupid woman to not be able to see all of this. The emperor loving her was not her fault we all agree about that. But how could she not see that her daughter was the collateral of her naivety?? It’s because she’s how she’s that her husband dare take big measures without telling her. To me it’s like she was the real heroine of the story. All her life she got to be carefree and loved by everyone without having to worry about anything, while everybody else had to suffer and take the brunt of the stick for her to get a ressemble of happiness. I also believe that Yi Junjie deserved his chance with Rui. I know I said that Ying and Rui were meant to be, but I would have loved to see an alternate life where Rui and Junjie got a happy ending (that’s just a wishful thinking). The love of Junjie was more realistic and appealed to me a big time. He really did his best for Rui, be it before the incident, during the 4 years and after. As for Zhang Wei and Huiqin can’t say much about them. Was more engrossed in Xi-Li story. Sorry for the long rant just wanted share my thoughts.🙏

The Princess and Her Rough-Rider Khan

Petite Princess VS Rough Khan On their wedding day, Yelu Yan told Li Xianyun that apart from affection, he could provide her with endless wealth and honor. After the marriage, he indeed kept his promise, cherishing her in the palm of his hand. Little did he know, the more he cherished her, the deeper she burrowed into his heart, right to the very top. Not long after the political marriage with the Khitans, Li Xianyun gradually noticed earth-shattering changes around her: Initially, the commoners who disliked her began to worship her as a deity... The court officials accusing her of bewitching their lord were now pleading with her to consummate the marriage with the Khan... The most perplexing of all was her husband in name; wasn’t he the one who said he wouldn't give her emotional affection? Why was he always following her around? Little theater scene 1: One day, Yelu Yan cornered Li Xianyun against the wall. “Why are you avoiding this Khan?” “They say you might have taken a liking to your servant.” “Remove ‘might’, isn’t it obvious enough from how this Khan acts?” “But you said you wouldn’t give your servant emotional affection.” Yelu Yan held his forehead; he had indeed said too many foolish things. “The Han people always say that one should start a family and then establish a career; clearly, the two are not in conflict.” Little theater scene 2: The sun had risen high, yet Yelu Yan was still clinging to Li Xianyun. “Get up quickly, I have to leave. There are patients on the street waiting for my consultation, the good fields to the west need irrigation, the homestead plots in the east need measuring, and I have to oversee the silk reeling and dyeing... Uh...” “Your husband is a patient, don’t you care for him?” Li Xianyun looked at the man tough enough to rival ten bulls and was utterly speechless.

The Lucky Farm Girl

After dying unexpectedly, she was reborn as a ten-year-old little girl in an ancient farming family, with barely a few rooms in her house and even fewer acres of land, not to mention a household of the old, weak, sick, and disabled. Fortunately, the elders in the family were kind and honest, her brothers loving and good-natured, and the neighbors harmonious and friendly. For Yang Mengchen, who had suffered from her relatives' torment and endured all sorts of mockery and scolding since she was young, this was truly a blessing from heaven. To support the family she loved, she resolutely took on the heavy responsibility of providing for them. If she, a modern corporate CEO who had once dominated the business world, couldn't feed a family, then who could? Pharmaceutical recipes, building greenhouses, opening storefronts... Not only did her family start living a comfortable and prosperous life, but she also led the surrounding villages in creating a magnificent pastoral scene! With money and fame, as she grew up, Yang Mengchen decided it was time to choose a husband, and thus, young talents from around the world began to flock to her. Who knew a grim-faced god of death would be blocking the entrance to the Yang family's home? "You're too tall, you're too short, you're too fat, you're too skinny, you're too dark, you're too pale, you're uneducated, you're deceitful and sly... All eliminated!" In a moment, the entrance was empty, and Yang Mengchen was instantly furious, "Prince, you've driven everyone away. How am I supposed to choose a husband now?" "I would like to see who dares to marry you. I wouldn't mind sending him to the Underworld as a groom!" Yang Mengchen... A certain Prince counted his merits on his fingers: "I have power, prestige, and substance, no concubines, no secret love affairs, no gallivanting— I embody the standards of a husband's three obediences and four virtues... In short, only I, this unparalleled good man, am worthy of you!" The guards: Oh wise and valiant Prince, is it really good to be so lacking in your role as a husband?
