Sorry to say, I probably won't be picking this novel back up. It was my first attempt at writing. As expected, without experience, mistakes were common. However, I learned a lot from them. The root of my main issue stemmed from releasing chapters as I wrote them. I kept wanting to change things that I had already solidified. The things I wanted to fix stacked up, and I found myself thinking more and more about what could have been than what I could write next. The other major problem was that I grew not to like my MC, primarily how he interacted with other characters. I initially framed him for character development, but I created a dull wall. At the very least, I found a hobby I enjoy. And I'm thankful to all that gave this novel a chance. Around a month ago, I started working on a new story. However, I don't plan to start posting it until I have a significant stockpile; I'm talking more chapters than this novel ever reached. Perhaps I'm letting the pendulum swing too far in the other direction, but I don't want to leave anyone hanging when I try this again.
