Although the novel is well made, he's little too emo and dull for my taste. And there's no real direction nor goal for the mc. It's not something that work well with the hxh universe.

He does get a goal eventually, which is to study the five threats(or calamities) He may appear dull at times, but I do try to flesh him out more later in the story.

I'm kinda late in seeing this, but it's around 40-60 where he starts noticing he's a c**t. And he starts making an effort to be less of one during the next few arcs.
