That’s because they havent truly read beyond the 20 and potential 40 chapters of this trial read. Their assumption is that it’s the same thing like the rest. But in actuality? This is one of a kind sign in novel, i’ve read the mtl and each chapter is interesting always, never actually getting in on the usualy tropes you’d supposedly see in generic sign in novels.
Also, the overall raiting can be misleading sometimes. Like how trash novels get decenT scoreS for some reason. The reason why the rating is so low is because it’s been review bombed by individuals unwilling to give the novel chance.
These 1 star reviews I think is a counter reaction to all the 5 star reviews. Obviously this novel is far from perfect but it’s also not tge worst ether.
