A novel that makes you feel invested in it is rare. A novel that moves you to put it down and ponder on its meaning is even rarer; this is one such novel. The string of descriptions and the change of scenes should make no sense in hindsight, however, the author of this novella has managed to do exactly that, and even more astonishingly, has made it work. The scenes, the descriptions…the words composing this writing fills you with a profound feeling. A feeling that makes you stop and ponder the question; ‘why am I feeling this way?’ Suffice to say, the mark of a great story is in its ability to make the reader feel emotions. this novella has the ability to do so, and does so in incredible fashion.
