Review Detail of IndustrialDildo in Historical System

Okay this story is bad, so lets talk about it. What is going on with all the positive reviews? I'm baffled. At the time I'm writing this review this story has 10 perfect 5 star reviews... so I checked them out. One is from the author and another is from someone that actually read like 40 hours of this... the other 8? All fake. Check them out yourself. None of the other reviews are from accounts that have actually even read ten minutes worth of this story. And their comments are so generic too (almost as if they could apply to ANY story! Hmmm). Comments like "I really like this story." or "I really recommend this!" They mention nothing of substance. So lets talk about the actual problems. Right away you can see the prose is ******* with an overdependence on verbed nouns. Tense is all out of wack with the author just using simple past and past perfect interchangeably (almost like they don't know the difference, which is a good guess as to what's going on). Typos? Yes, plenty. Imagery is nearly non-existent. The prose is clunky with redundancy of words and restating the same thing in different ways. And then they will also say something again in a similar way to the way they just said it but using many more words than they really need to be using and it reads so awkwardly... You get my point. We're given no hint of character motivations OR descriptions. These are just empty bodies floating in space so I guess we're just asked to decide what they look like and what the different things they interact with look like? I don't understand how anyone reads this and thinks, "This is a perfect 5 stars from me!" let alone 10 people. This is astroturfing. And author, if you read this review.. I get it, it's harsh. I think you need a cool splash of reality though. Practice your writing more (a LOT more) and get some feedback from some real people. Congrats on being the #3 highest rated fantasy novel... just goes to show how meaningless reviews are on here.
