Wow. I'm surprised this novel has 4 stars at the time of this review because it is not a good novel. The translation is subpar with numerous grammatical errors and odd commas placed at the end of childish dialogue. It's only slight better than MTL. Maybe I'm being a bit too harsh but the translation is 3/5 stars at best. Story development is non existent. We know nothing about what is going on. Why are humans suddenly becoming monsters based on what they eat? No idea. How does the level system work? Barely discussed. Our main character just happens to have been given a second chance for seemingly no logical reason and that's how he knows everything. Despite the fact our main character was a nobody in his last life. The only reason any other characters exist in this novel is to praise or kiss the MC's butt. They have no emotions let alone the capability to think for themselves. Trust me. You are better off reading something else.

Why just why. Besides the bad translation, including missing words and grade school English, there is still this novel idea. But all of it is ruined by the total lack of anything even resembling human emotions. It is the first hour of the Apocalypse but everyone, not just the time traveling MC, is already used to it and thinking about their own solutions. No panicking, no searching for answers, no testing ones strength or exchange of information. It is literally the most brain dead fight for dominance imaginable. Even generic NPC would have more of an reaction to their new bodies than those supposedly normal people.
