⚠️SPOILERS: proceed at your own risk⚠️ Original chinese title: 重生八零悍妻来袭 Total chapters: 1153 + 29 extras Extra 29 was titled "grand wedding" as of 5th February 2021 My personal opinion is only based up to chapter 63 that I've read, I found that: 1. The FL is quite a hypocrite. 2. The ML may come across as indecisive and weak. He's the type to go with the flow until things turn pretty bad. In her previous life, she was a 35 years old unmarried woman because she was disappointed in her ex-boyfriend or something like that. Thus, in this new life she resolved to no longer have any hope in marriage. Upon transmigrating, she found out she was recently married but quickly get along extremely well with ML's mother and two younger siblings. How did she marry? The body's previous owner apparently was a fool and fell into the river but was saved by ML. Her adopted family(she was adopted and can't recall anything- mysterious identity background for later plot and drama I bet) forced him to take responsibility and marry her. They even demand a huge sum of money from ML. ML even had to borrow money from others as the family was quite poor. ML didn't even look properly at how FL looked like, let alone the FL who was an unconscious fool at the time. In short, it's a room for more drama when later they met and can't recognize each other. Finally, after resolving some drama with the bad in-laws(uncles, cousins, etc), the FL headed to ML's workplace but they met on the train. There's no recognition to the other's identity but they quickly get attracted to each other(well, no surprise there 😏). ML kept reminding himself that he already have a wife at home, even if she's a fool. After, FL went on to do some side quests first yada yada and gets paid some money. She bought some clothes that quite resembles modern attire and cut her hair short. When she finally arrived at ML's place, he was quite shock but nonetheless happy that the girl he likes from the train is also his wife. 😑 FL then lives in his dorm, gets along with other workers there, goes for lunch at cafeteria and gradually found out that every single person there knows that ML married a fool so they were shocked silly to find that she wasn't. FL practically constantly reminds herself to get divorced every second she got since the first chapter but after meeting ML, never had the actual guts to say it to his handsome face. Had to constantly read about her divorce monologues and it's quite irritating tbh. Finally, in her tipsy state she blurted out she wants divorce while having dinner with a neighbor couple(the wife is the one who spreads that FL's a fool, hence the dinner as apology). ML was shocked silly but still treated her nicely. Days later, a woman appears in their house and is cooking food for ML(she has her own copy of the house key🔪🔪🔪). FL became sad, indignant and jealous(er, excuse me miss, who is the one that adamantly whining about divorce since the get go?). So, they waited together in the room for ML's return from work that it was actually absurdly funny lmao. The woman continues to cook and FL reads her book. It was treated as common knowledge by people there that the woman would marry ML if not because of FL. Apparently, the woman was the daughter of his deceased master and he promised to take good care of her. People and the woman herself misunderstood it as marriage promise. This is why I mentioned ML likes to go with the flow. First, casually mentioning he married a fool(she was indeed a fool but still🙄) to one person- and later everyone seems to find out. Then this. But what's redeemable is that he apparently would rather marry a fool than the other woman so it's all good. But boiii the other woman is fcking delusional. Before anything was resolved, FL had to return to her in-laws because there's a flood. ML can't return cus he's just a small worker and can't casually ask for leave. That's all cus I've decided to stop reading for now.

This is a very interesting book. I chose it because of the name actually. but it really caught my attention. I enjoyed it and I hope others do as well.

I like reading stories in which the mc transmigrate to the past (like in the 60s to 80s), started farming and eventually make her family rich because of her innovations. I like this story because the mc fights back and know martial arts so she does not rely on her husband to protect her. The only thing I dislike is that the mc and ml started to like each other at first sight. I mean, WTH 🙄 I thought the mc dislikes marriage, but why does she seems flirting with a man while she has a husband (though she doesn't know that they are the same person)?

It's an interesting story. The meeting inside the train of MC and ML was sweet. they clearly attracted to each other yet have to remind themselves they're married 🤣. I really can't wait when they know that they're husband and wife? it's also refreshing when read MC starting from bottom. not just some powerful wealthy CEO from a prominent family.

I am very much excited for this novel. The synopsis is surely interesting. Smart female leads always give this feeling of being independent and not relying on anyone.
