He got permission to travel the world at the age of five years old... What type of parent would even consider allowing their five year old run off to another continent, let alone even take a child's request seriously. The Malfoy's are incredibly rich they could of just as easily hired tutors for him yet they didn't and quite literally just allowed him to venture off into the world even if he did have body guards he is still only FIVE YEARS OLD.

Okay, let us do this one point at a time. Yes, he was five-years-old but he was also guarded by the most feared, respected, and decorated auror to ever live. If you read the chapter correctly, he didn't want to travel the world just to learn more shit that would help him in school, he wanted to experience the world for what it truly was, a magical world. You said, "what type of parent would let their child travel the world", the rich type, you see it in our world too, kids of rich parent's doing whatever they want and going places without their parents and with a guardian. You act like it's some sort of crime that he wants to travel the world, I'm not throwing shade or trying to start a petty argument but are you one of those people that say shit like, "why do you need to go see the world if you can see it through pictures, there is no difference", he's in a mother fucking magical worlds with dragons and shit. Lastly, this story isn't meant to be realistic, Harry Potter defeated one of the most powerful wizards in existence while he was 16 months old, how? because his mother loved him enough, and that sounds realistic. Albus Dumbledore sent The Chosen One off to live with people that hate magic and everything it stands for and never looked in on him until he went to Hogwarts, does that sound realistic? I know that whatever I write you will probably try to argue with me about but at least try to meet me halfway here, so many people come to read novels/fanfics that have magic and mythical creatures and expect it to be realistic, it's BS and you know it.

Your justification for allowing him to do what he does is because the world he is in is magical. Try to take the world more seriously, they have a curse that could kill with a single zap.

True but i am being realistic, in your life and in mine, there is a million ways that you could die every second, you could choke on something, get cancer, hit by a car, get caught in a tornado, etc. Being afraid of the world will just end up making our lives pointless.

I get what your saying, however he is still a child. Being afraid of death and being vigilant of it are two different things, him staying at home where he could be safe to learn at his own leisure to prepare himself for such ventures, doesn't make him any less of a coward for not wanting to venture out to the world at the age of five.

True but i also wanted this to be different from other fanfics, also, it will be a good backstory for his new personality, please stick with the story. I enjoy talking to people like you that aren't afraid to tell me what they think and give me an in-depth description of what they dislike, rather than just writing, "bad chapter" or something.
