I'm still on chapter 6, but reading the comments I realized that a lot of people have been complaining about the book's homophobia, however, from my point of view the hate comes from the scoundrel having married her to hide the fact that he's gay, and making her suffer for 2 years, also with her mother-in-law complaining about her not having children.
