Easily the best original novel on the website right now. Yes, I've read the top one's, and the only one that comes close is the Oracle Paths. I won't even try and list the reasons. If you keep trying different novels over and over and face palming, or young kids being sexualized - or characters lacking backbone, or mindless murderers(btw reverend insanity is not the same hehe) etc etc. This is the same high stakes novel with a more reasonable touch instead of whatever other description you want to give to those others. I want to give it a 4.9 because nothing is perfect, but I can't so a 5 will do. To put things into perspective - it's slow(as LOTM was at least in the beginning - also author realized story was a bit on the slow side in recent chapters and already started to adapt) but it flows so well. One of the few novels I look forward to reading. Hopefully the writing quality remains the same.

No, no the story isn't a one-to-one like Oracle Paths. I meant as in a good story it's in the same league. But, yeah if you like Paths I feel like you can appreciate good writing here as well.

It's incredibly infodump heavy and gets worse later on to the point where whole chapters are just lists of values and made up info that will never be seen again. The author also doesn't pace well as the action will be broken by interspersing 3 different narratives in full chapters before Cycling back around ruining the momentum. (Partly bc the side characters are literally doing almost the same thing the mc is or has done. The oracles path has its own very different flaws but is at least a bit above this. If you only read on webnovel the "top novels" aren't going to usually be the best ones. 😉
Oracle Paths is on the same level as a professional edited and published novel. This novel is really good , but I would argue it's not there yet. I loved Rainbow Mage, but the novel has some small mistakes sometimes and some really blatant and cringe plot armor moments. I think this is about the same level as supreme magus.
Lol I read 50 chaps of this, the story goes nowhere, wasted time tbh. rly cant trust reviews anymore.
