Exactly, its similar to that drunk elder from that novel. He has profound dao in all his small actions. It’d been better if he stayed a mortal longer though

I'll literally never learn how anybody could enjoy MTL. Literally every bit of literary flair dies in MTL and all you get is a stilted general idea of the novel

Agreed, and then when you keep trying to make sense of what you are reading, it ruins your reading experience, especially when it is in the middle of a really good scene or part.
