I'm 20 chapters from finishing the raw material, so I can probably give a solid opinion. Summing up an interesting start to a subsequent tedious development, this flaw is very similar to novels of the same type, such as "48 hours a day", due to the paradigm shift and the different MC time flow, we end up seeing an apathetic main character. During the chapters that he is with the family you can observe him with feelings, but this is forced by the author, if you spent decades or centuries living as a monarch, sect leader, mercenary or anything else, you would immediately be able to recover your previous behavior and all feelings towards your family? Certainly not and this is one of the novel's biggest flaws. In addition, it is essential to point out a lack of worldwide development, 300 chapters and are practically the same -_-, if you expect development of secondary characters give up, due to the speed that it changes from one world to another it is basically impossible to develop a character deeply. But although this criticism, it is still a decent story compared to the other webnovels put on trials in previous times, the MC is not an asshole, we have a wide variety of cultivation systems, without harem and lastly an enemy that although it makes the story goes fast, makes us observe several worlds of cultivation.

To those all who are hesitant, I've also read the raws and I 100% agree. There are some inaccuracies with this review, but in essence, this novel is well written but not a magnificent masterpiece. It's a good read and judging from the editors and translators involvement, we won't see it being dropped anytime soon. So start reading and judge for yourself :)

I'd also add the mystery behind his world is actually pretty terribly written. I won't go into what it is, but it felt like a massive letdown.

Well,For this kind of novel, this Author did very good Job,as for the Character Recovery,he is Manipulative and Can easily control his emotion,so that is not a flaw. The Best of this Kind of novel is "Nurturing Humanity"

There are differences between control and lack. The MC goes through several lives, that is, basically the concept of time has almost lost its meaning, can you imagine a person going through different realities returning to his and in the end being described only as manipulative? Apathy would be more accurate, the mere attempt by the author to make him excited or happy with trivial things in the original reality, seems false and forced, so that we can identify more with the MC.

48 hours seemed to me one of the best novels I have read, in addition to the apathetic protagonist has a very important reason for the development of the novel. But the most outstanding thing for me was the places I went, the island, pirate, tokyo, the 2nd world war, the old west, rome, an alternate reality, a futuristic world, chernobyl, ancient Japan, a post-apocalyptic world, the lego. But it was one of my favorite novels. Don't you have a similar novel where the protagonist visits many places?

Im yet to see a novel that has overcome that flaw on this site where the mc spends centuries or any period of time in a ‘simulator’ Or alternate place, only to return to the time he left with no change in behaviour or attitude.

The biggest flaw is his false love for his family. He has the power to take care of them (buying a new house, finding his dad a new job near home or no job at all), but no he does nothing. He is content with the status quo, like he is waiting for his family to break apart like what happened in his original timeline. The so-called love for his family in the end is just him not wanting to become a completely benefit-driven guy, so he cling to this pitiful and frail relationship, it's not like he love them to death or whatever
