Even when it was nearing the 40th chapter we still see how choices that the system presents could help the mc. Even the most unreasonable one like giving a tip can be explained due to how the average wuxia ir xianxia world works. The waiter whi does not get a tip either gets mad or due to not getting a tip, he will gossip about how the mc has five girls in a room which would attract lechers and one of them could be a noble or gang member. Mc beats them up only for their gang to hunt him down.

MC overly depend on system ,he has no opinion nor intelligence. If system don't tell him what to do he won't do shit. Even when he was entered the sect, what he had to do was just be somewhere middle of the group an show an average talent, but what he did he stayed there like pig untill system has tell him to move, again at the fight he just had to do was make some effort to fight his opponent and will win barely. This were all opportunities to get strong an have an better survival rate. And This choice were not in the system options.

Did you read my other comment where I said he is an idiot? The mc is an established idiot who is narcissistic. I bet the system made itself look like that because the mc makes shit decisions. Just look at the backstory, the guy had no caution at all and made an idiotic choice because he thinks he is the mc therefore he gets special treatment, he got it beaten out of him. Now he is a scaredy cat but deep inside he still wants benefits(those +1 points are very beneficial) and with his dumb/scarred mind, he became cautious and overly reliant on the system since he is scared of the unknown now, he is also scared that his choices might kill him(cause he is stupid), I think.

I read the raw to a decent point and it seems more like the system is molding his personality more then him being overly reliant. a lot of choices he has to give a straight answer but others he can choose how he proceeds. he also uses it to determine threat levels and hidden connections between people
