You call ripping his family out of their normal life into a stone age because he doesn't want to be alone caring about them?

Not really, But when writing this I was thinking of all the fanfictions I have read where the author immediately forgets about the mcs family and I found this particular author's take refreshing. Like you stated though what the mc wished for can be seen as really selfish when he could have just wished for them to be able to live a good life without trouble. I think that it all depends on how close the mc is to his or her family and wouldthe family choose to give up everything they currently have for "the next great adventure". I DONT KNOW IF ANY OF THIS MADE SENSE IT'S NEW YEARS AND I HAVE NOT SLEPT SINCE YESTERDAY SO IF IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE I APOLOGIZE.
