The author had something really good going on but unfortunately, the story went down the drain. For me what made me drop this novel was the Hermes explosion followed by the thousand-year time skip, The novel does indeed focus heavily on having a broken protagonist but not really giving him a single win does at the end become boring and make you just skip through the text as fast as you can until you see find an interesting development but other than that the novel lost what it had going on. The time skip did it for me, I've read a couple of other novels that have done this and when this is done like this it just pushes away your audience. The arcs by themselves were already too short and did not help at all in building the characters relevant to the story and they mostly felt rushed and the time skip didn't help this at all as the MC was starting to grow stronger, he was about to have a son with Artemis, he was finding his place in the universe and was starting to grow (albeit a little to fast). This is one of those cases where I'm really glad I didn't invest in the novel seeing how most are really expensive when we're to consider the quality of the novels. Finally, I'll just say the following, I don't recommend reading this novel at, it had a lot of potential, the author had something really good going on but managed to kill his own work. I'll just say the sometimes getting beta readers or editors can help you avoid this kind of thing and to be honest I'm not surprised to see the amount of readers the novel lost and I don't blame them, the novel became just depressing with 0 interesting developments.

LIKEAdam:Sis:dead Mom: probably dead(nobody saw body) Friends:dead or villains now For a book with 300 chapters I'd expect the main character to win at least once
I stopped reading this a long time ago(before it hit 100 chapters or so) and just saw that a lot of chapters have released. Granted, I’m not going to start reading all of them so I’d like some spoilers. What happened to his older caring sister, the one who he used to live with? What’s the deal with his secretive mother who I think is a part of a hidden organisation? Where do the friends he made in school end up?
