Webnovel rating sucks, so I can only give you 2.2 stars. In general, this should be around 3/5 but yeah. First of all, the tone is bland. It has almost no soul. It is just a description of events without any emotion to it. It feels more like a summary than anything else. It has no emotional influence on the reader and it just feels weird. I am only at chapter 16, so I don't know much about the plot, but it seems to be pretty standard for a native of hxh without memories. Character design is almost ignored. Everyone has a few features and that is it. No complexity, no motivation, nothing that speaks to the reader to make him want to read. There is no passion in the MC, just mechanical emotions. I don't really care what he does, but I want to know why and have some reason behind it. The MC is foolish and doesn't think through things. He isn't careful about his actions, he just does them. This might be good for some, but to me it repels me from reading. The world background is lacking. It is just a stock fanfiction world with no depth, no new concepts, no explanations behind the plot holes in HxH, nothing. It isn't thought out and the author, there is nothing beneath the surface. Well, this is only my opinion. Do whatever you want.
