the novel isnt only 40 chapters its on trial right now so it will get more chapters if enough people read and spend coins on it

why would you give it a bad rating if you enjoy it. your review won’t stop webnovel from doing trial reads. rate the novel based on how much you enjoyed it not your experience with webnovel. if people see positive reviews they’re more likely to read it and then you can go to your pirate sites but right now you’re decreasing your chances of reading the rest of the novel

leaving bad reviews on good novels dissuades readers and makes it less likely they will be translated. you shouldn’t give 1 star to a novel that’s obviously much better than that just because you want more chapters because you won’t get them if not enough people read. you didn’t give any justification in your review besides the trial system is stupid. that has nothing to do with the novel so you shouldn’t be rating it based on the demerits of webnovel. tldr your review is useless

reviews should only be for translation quality, updating stability, story development, character design, and world background. everything else is irrelevant
