Mc is an overpowered nobody, basically someone ridiculously strong yet has no impact to the plot, whether intentionally or unintentionally, despite being directly involved with the main cast. In fact, he actually goes out of his way to undo any deviation, like when he personally saved Asia only to later on, have Rias turn her into a devil for no reason other than to preserve canon. Author is also the type to force scenarios that make no sense, for the sake of drama. Like when the MC nearly died against someone who's essentially weaker than him, or his powers not working for no reason.
