Author the premise of the novel u have set up is very good but please listen to this request of mine that is please make him truly ruthless and dont add romance. Romance spoils this kind of story in every way possible so if possible please dont add any love interests and make the mc as selfish and ruthless as you can.

i really don't understand this.... readers like you... how can a genre spoil a story... it is inability of author to justify that genre..... so by your logic all those novels which do not have romance are all good right? not a single flaw in them right? once again, a genre like romance, harem, smut doesn't destroy a novel. it is author's fault that he/she can't write a good story including the said genres..... stopping blaming genres....

My brother here have you ever read or seen anything like game of thrones. if you have you would know that when big things are on stake no one gives shit about anyone else. None of their relationships matter but here in these kind of stories a male mc would share his resources with a female mc or companion or similar kind of happenings. Is that logical as when the mc is truly strong will there be a shortage of potential brides for him? And love is a weakness in these stories as your partner will drag u down. another thing is that some female of mcs caliber or higher seem to have "chance" encounters with him again and again while people of highest calibers will always dominate others especially not fall in love with other

I totally agree with you. I have watched game of thrones except the last season. And again what you have mentioned is the flawed way the author projected his idea. nothing wrong with genre. if what you wrote was implemented correctly won't harem appear good? Also it isn't necessary that everytime GoT scenario will be true(thought it's rare not to be) but people do share it with their family

Plus those types of books are way less realistic.. who doesnt have desires... the mcs end up being monk killing machines.. and ppl tend to lose interest b/c its the same thing over and over again just different people/places. Romance breaks up monotony plus its natural.. its up to the author to execute it.
