I enjoyed the novel. however, there are three irritating things: 1- The ML is manipulative (the "she can't fall for someone other than me" kind of mentality) 2- The main point of the novel is face slapping. 3- If the mc's identifies were known from the start then the novel would have absolutely no point. So it is the usual "what you are "God Z".....what you are "God X"!!!!" (p.s. I liked how the novel focused more than other novels on family relationships)

And the irritating thing about the ML is that he's not just manipulative and possessive. He abuses the FL lack of relationship knowledge and doesn't give anything to the relationship. He doesn't do any thing for FZ. No gifts, no visits, no doting on her. He just demands, accuses, and reprimand her when she does something he doesn't like. And then he uses her naivety to try and essentially brainwash her into doing what he wants. I hate him because he is not loving in the slightest.
