This book has no substance really. Where is the point in all of this? Why does the protagonist kill? Why does he seek bounties? Why does he kill who he kills? This book introduces the character as a person who was dropped into the world with the sole purpose of killing. Cool, but that's not a reason to kill. What keeps him going? What makes him struggle to keep his life? It seems like the character just goes along with the plot no matter what happens. What is stopping the character from letting himself die? Unlike naruto, he doesn't want to become a leader. Unlike Goku, he doesn't fight for his friends and family. Unlike Saitama, he doesn't have the goal of having fun. He just does stuff without the author explaining. For example, he does homework but why? What is the purpose of pursuing an education? What is the purpose of interacting with people the way he does? Why does he choose to live a some-what normal life instead of killing full time? This book does nothing to answer any of this. It's a lazy, somewhat-readable, and meaningless piece of literature. Where is the drive to create something good? Why just produce bare-bones? I'm honestly disgusted that I can't rate this any lower than a 1.0 Don't waste your time. Don't lower you standards. Move on with your lives and if you write, create something better than this hot garbage.
