If you don't mind me asking, what does your word count average per chapter? I plan on publishing my first few chapters on here. It seems most do 1,500-2,000 but figured it best to ask directly.

my goal is usually 1,500, most the time I end up around 1,600. but I have a few chapters where I go up to 2,000. 90% of my chapters are between 1,550 and 1,650.

Thank you for the info. So far, I have 3 chapters 2,000-2,500 each & an exposition that's about 600. I do have footnotes in each though so that increases their length by at least a hundred words. I want to take a bit longer & get a few weeks ahead. Haha. I will definitely let you know when I begin to post tho. 😁👍

sounds like you are already on the right track. and it is definitely a good idea to have a decent backstock. and it's always a good idea to start out the story with more chapters. it's always hard to get readers if you have less than 10 chapters. even if it's an epic story some people won't pay it any attention.

Author I have to say we had a good run, it was great novel but now it's gone down hill because you've fallen into the trap that is webnovel. I'd say 50 to 75% of your audience will be lost as no one but rich or seriously insane fans can afford to pay for chapters. It's simply not worth it.

I mean this in the nicest possible way but it is very much like 'Rise of the undead legion'. Did you get inspired from that or did your idé just happened to be very much alike? I'm only about 50 cha in but I'd like more out of game development. Solid 4/5 so far. Keep it going

it was inspired by a character I made in a table top game. but both my work and ROTUL pull things from Dungeons and Dragons but with a twist. if you are referring to the world and creatures, it is probably because of that.

I think it is around chapter 60 or 70 that I start to put more attention on the IRL portion.

Is it slow burn or does the fl and mc meet early on on at least meet before chap 50 or so 100

they meet up before chapter 10.

The MC Will have a girlfriend/wife?
