Review Detail of Red1000r in I Reject Quests

I hereby declare this thing as a masterpiece. Yes, this deserves the masterpiece label. I was very confused getting into the story mainly because I have never read something like this. I didn't know how the novel would progress and didn't know what to expect. When I read the first ten chaps, I realized that the horrible synopsis didn't do the novel justice. When I read the synopsis, my first thought was that this was going to be a novel about a OP guy who flaunts off his powers but I couldn't be more mistaken. The novel is about a guy with an actual personality who is troubled with the families and people close to him in the two worlds. How he interacts with his family and friends is very real. There are a lot of moments which affected the mc emotionally and slowly changed his character. Sometimes its bittersweet, sometimes its heartwarming. Writing Quality (5/5): I like the writing. The author uses show-not-tell many times to describe emotions and doesn't shove emotions down the throat. Update Stability (5/5): I have been reading this for ten days and the updates are fine. Story Development (6/5): This is one of the parts where the novel truly shines. There is absolutely very less tropes and the novel itself is an anti-trope. The plot develops in the most absurd of ways but in a good way. Every single thing has a meaning. Character Design (5/5): I like the fact that the author's focus is never on the appearances. This might come as a short coming to the novel but its feels damn real. If you are in here for beauties, don't. Just don't. The heroines have not yet been stated but from what I read, most of them are normal. I love this part. Till now, mc's relationship with the girls are platonic. As for the male cast, it is SURPRISINGLY decent. For once, there are no scumbags and assholes. The mc's relationship with his friends feels very real. World Background (5/5): The novel is still revolving around mc's town. The VR world is the same. The Gruer World is very unique. For now, it has potential to excel. Some other things: Main Character: I couldn't praise this dude enough. There are so many layers to him that I could write an essay about him. Villains: Absolutely top-notch. There is no other way I could describe how interesting the villains are. Power System: It's terrifying how detailed the power system is. Full of elements. Cons: Enough praises, now it's time to list some cons. 1) The first few chapters are confusing. 2) The author rarely gives information and leaves the job to the readers, though he does reference this after a few chapters. These are the only two cons I can find. Honestly, this is a masterpiece-level novel and it bugs me how this isn't in the rankings yet. (I have just read 100 chaps. It might disappoint as I go on but for now, it's great). Good luck, author.
