The novel is relatively well written with no obvious glaring errors. The plot however contains way too much drama hurt and heartache for my liking. There is also very little to bordering on no romance whatsoever and with a standard beaten down protagonist who thinks he is worthless it's kinda depressing overall.

You know what... I read ahead a little further to see if my review was unfounded. It was not. Finally, after 80 something chapters, something romantic actually happened. They had a date! The date started off well and I thought that the MC and Ash were finally getting to have a small bit of happiness but noooo. The date however ends in heartbreak tragedy and the MC hollering out extremely hurtful things about Ash's past while being possessed by dead spirits. At which point Ash, decides that she herself must risk going out into this deadly blight rain to save his life. So basically the more depressing shit. You really need to reevaluate your tags author
