Review Detail of I_am_inevitable in Death in Remnant

Though the body double idea was a bad one.

Well, they'll be remaining in remnant to watch over it when death goes off to other worlds so their role will be much diminished at that point. That's a few chapters off at the time I am writing this.

I am not sure why body doubles would be bad. They are effectively still him, everything they hear, smell, see, touch or taste the original experiences as well. It just lets him be in multiple places at the same time like the six paths of pain, only rather then animated corpses they are fully alive clones/perfect copies.

is death the mc or are there multiple povs

Both. During the first arc in Remnant, there are some POV changes to the other horsemen, but in other Star Wars and beyond the main focus is on Death.. There may be occasionally chapters dedicated to his wife and children, but most chapters will be focused on Death's current adventure.

he has children now? or in the future

Yes, he has children due to a significant time skip following the RWBY Arc. I plan to eventually do a re-write to lengthen the arcs, since I'm pretty new at writing yet. I have some ideas for when I get to that point, but for bow I am just pressing forward. I wont say spoilers beyond the fact that he has children, and when I do the re-write in the future there will be a lot of changes, though I'll still leave up this version at that point.

it's a bad idea, and you use they, so its like a clone, the difference is you can feel all their 5 sense, so its not him......it's just like cucking yourself......

The body doubles o not have their own minds at all, it is merely that Death trained himself over time to compartmentalize his own mind to better control all of his body doubles simultaneously. To avoid spoilers as much as possible, I point to death's adopted daughter who he managed to teach the body double technique too. Though she can create many body doubles, she lacks Death's ability to compartmentalize his mind, so she can only control one at a time and that becomes her true body. Even if he does something through his clones and numbs the sense receptors in his true body to be able to have all of his body doubles continue acting without being influenced by each other, he still sees, smells, hears,, feels, and tastes absolutely everything his body doubles are feeling as it happens. I don't see that as cucking himself at all, since the body doubles have no minds of their own and it is only due to Death's mental training that he reached the point where he could compartmentalize to this extent. In the beginning, when he first started using the technique, he suffered from major sensory overload, which forced him to compartmentalize better. Adopted daughter hasn't managed to learn compartmentalize at all yet, hence only controlling one at a time.

So it's basically a hivemind-puppet type technique, but with only one 'mind'?

I posted a re-write and I chose to call them avatar's in the re-write. The skill is still called body double because of where if originates from, that is what it is called, though for the way it works Avatar seemed a better term to use. Additionally, Avatar's are often associated with gods, and the mc has a small spark of divinity from his semblance, so that word works better for that reason as well A hive mind with only one mind works as well, though.
