Review Detail of HypnosCreations in Lucifer's Descendant System

I picked up this novel yesterday and binged it and now I’m here wanting more with no update for a month. So ofcourse I started to do a little digging to figure out about the next chapter. Turns out that the author has been attacked on discord and on Webnovel by someone for controversial reasons to say the least. Now I don’t know the specifics nor do want to attribute blame anywhere but as far as I can tell this has entered a legal battle. Putting that aside, I personally enjoy the novel and am willing to wait for the author to finish up his business so I won’t be joining some of the hecklers clamoring for more chapters when the man has some problems currently. Enough about that onto my review: I actually love the world building here The author has really set up the building plots for a good story with the hints and details he’s dropped in though I will admit the author has some kinks like maybe taking the time to really flesh out the mcs backstory fully about his mom and his sisters disease maybe maybe? the timing of some details like how humanity became reliant on supernatural came a lot later than I expected. Certain other details I expected early in the novel came much later than anticipated. The reason I point this out is that these kinks come from the same problem. This isn’t a reincarnation novel where the protagonist finds out details at the same time as the reader as he grows up. We begin the story with the Mc already in the beginning of his 20’s. So it’s assumed he understands to a basic degree history and has in own personal history readily available at the start. It’s not a huge issue cause the author does get around to giving these details, it’s just the timing. Aside from that, the plot so far has been great. It’s not repetitive, the author has done a good job leading the reader to understand the progress of the story, who are the antagonists and end goal and even at times makes fun of certain tropes other novels have like how everyone that is introduced to the mc has to be belligerent and have to somehow be superior to the mc which gives a temporary antagonist for the mc to beat until the next sequence of events occur where this repeats itself. Now where I’ve read so far in the novel {around 200} one of his main goals to help his family is basically almost complete and he’s also started to worry about more personal goals which I can already assume what they’ll be but he hasn’t outright said it so we shall see; nevertheless I have high hopes for this novel when the author returns.
