Great start but after chapter 8 everything is dumb. They merge souls they get stronger... No scratch that mc gets small buff companion basically gets 75% of mc's power mc doesn't get companions op talent because author doesn't want the mc to get strong too fast even thou many people have explained that he should have and companion becomes op. Mc gets power all 5 elements but but doesn't get a power-up shown whatsoever because author doesn't want mc to be stronger but companion gets stronger. Mc gets power up in the form of mokuton but companion has more talent than him in this, note that companion got his talent but only 30% weaker. mc is good at seals but it is to make his companion stronger. by the looks of it mc will get a harem way stronger than him in the form of tsundae and some other strong girl. Basically a weak mc relying on girls 'Companion' is also a girl by the name of konan My take on this is that the author wants to nerf the mc as much as possible for the sake of nonexistent plot and has watched to much pokemon
