Synopsis and title intrigued me and I decided to give it a go, but going to put it nicely and just say that this isn’t my cup of tea. I feel like the MC and ML (if we can even call him that at this point) are lacking in depth as characters. I see their affair going nowhere. Then there’s Jason who likes Val and imo more deserving of her than the ML who lacks backbone. Val seems dead set on getting Xavier back, but often times her interactions with Jason seem rather ambiguous and it’s hard to say whether or not the two will end up together in the end. Moreover, while this seems like a love triangle, even the wife’s feelings are now starting to waver and she seems to have developed some good feelings for Jason as she doesn’t see her marriage with Xavier as something that’ll bring her happiness anymore. So, this is somehow turning into a love square. Anyhow, things just seem so discombobulated as of now where I feel lost while reading.

Thank you so much for giving this novel a read. And yes, Xavier is the ML for this novel and their affair just started in the in 40's chapter. You can't just expect them more from their affair in the first few chapters and about Val is dead set on Xavier back because she loves him truly... They both love each other for the past 9 years. You can't just forget a person or leave a person you love as soon as he gets married. Whatever it is... If you love a person truly, you will try to do anything for him. If you can't and just let off them then I don't think, they love a person truly. Maybe, yes... Some let go of it... But in this novel, it's about Valentina not letting go off of her lover who is already married to another woman. And when it comes to Jason the yes, Jason loves Valentina and it's hard for him to tell her because Valentina still loves Xavier. About Rose, yes... She might be starting to get attached to feeling with Jason but still, they still move forward and just settled on texting each other. Yes, it's a love square for sure because the TITLE is a love square title, and honestly, I can't tell you, who will end up with whom... But thank you for reading until here and giving me a review. 😇
