Have liked this story since the start but waited till now to see if it keeps up to its promising start. So far this has been one of the best novels, if not the best, on webnovel I have read in a long while. MC's character so far is one of the highlights of this novel who has a great mix of dominance and reasonableness. Another highlight is that the "revenge" starts being served since the start of the story even though the antagonist is at the "highest level" and readers don't have to wait thousand or more chapters for it to even start. The pacing of the story, world background and to top it all, the anticipation built so far, are all fantastic. Overall highly recommended. One doubt I have is how the story is going to be developed beyond the completion of revenge (which should not take very long going by the pace of the story) because MC was already at the highest levels of cultivation. There is a tiny indication about that but one can consider it as part of the anticipation built so far. Hopefully the story will not end at the revenge.

My shamelessness knows no bounds so I'm going go give myself five stars... Stay tuned for more, i promise you that more interesting scenes are coming.

So I'm reading thus far and all I can say is that the writing quality gets better as the chapter continues. You can really determine that this novel is more than decent and readable for most readers and I commend the author for doing this. The stability of updates may not be daily but as you can see from the dates, there are a couple of chapters released in a day so that is heavily compensated for those who released daily. The world-building is adequate, not rushed, or not slow. You can truly savor as though you're one of the adventurers in this novel! Thank you author for the job well done. Alusec is an mc who is always a step ahead even after getting weakened. He made some stupid decisions due to anger and pain. A lot of people decided to drop the novel at that point. None of them understands what it means to be betrayed by the very person who is most dear to you. Anyways let's continue with the review, Alusec still uses the mistakes to his advantage and pulls a big one on the current god king. The same student who betrayed him. That's called being smart and Alusec doesn't lack that. I'll just advice you to read to the latest chapter. For those saying there's no solid world background. Read more before judging. The author doesn't like to info dump so a lot of information is released slowly. After all my yapping those that will read will read. It's an amazing novel and it's worth your time.

From what the author said, he's still a newbie to the writing world, yet he's as good as this which means there's still more room for improvement. This novel is only two months old which means this author is two months old in the writing world. Right now his description and writing style surpasses a lot of books on webnovel that are up the rankings so this one definitely deserves your vote. This book is worth your time.

This is a great push into the fantasy genre, I tell you. The plot is terrific as well as the concept plus the brain behind it. The writer is of course commended for the effort.
