I like the story overall but can the MC stop being a fucking idiot simp you travel to the DC universe with the inheritance of a golden dragon and you ***** and moan for 8 months he clearly know the DC universe is very dangerous and the first thing you do is tell Batman your identity then take a bullet for Harley even though he barely knows how to use his power at all it's just fucking stupid

Need more info: Is it just that one time he blocks a bullet on impulse, or is there tirade of simping to prove that is truly it? If so, please describe scenario that clearly depicts that to be the case. I think we've all grown presumptious, and view every impulsive choice to save someone as "simping", even though the fact they're a woman may be irrelevant. And it's just a weird impulse, brought on by the subconscious thought that you'll tank it without issue. Hence my need for clarification. I can live with one or 2 questionable judgment calls in the spur of the moment(and I mean like throwing yourself in the path of a bullet, pushing someone out of the way, or going up to try and save some kid from a monster right by you). There's a world of difference between that and full on simpering. Even if it's a women, even if the subconsciously did it because it is a woman. They can right that ship straight afterwards. The problems come when the author writes it like it's the right thing to do. As if slavering away, and biting bullets for women is the right thing for men to do - That is when it clearly has become an issue with the story. And not just one bad judgment call on the MC.

Sounds like this fanfiction isn't that different from all the other fanfictions.

I'm pretty sure it was an impulse choice.

Like the guy below said, it was an impulse choice to tank that bullet for Harley. It's already explained that when he first came, he had depression and losing his parents made that worse, he said it himself that he was suicidal, and only because of his cowardice that he never took that last step. I'm not sure why you're so angry about it, that's not simping, there's barely any simping at all. He acts in certain ways to his girls, sure, but it's nowhere near the level of simping. That isn't to say the story doesn't its problems, but one star is a little too much and isn't justified.
