The story was really good until he started conquering Westeros the way he dealt with the Baratheon family was probably the first time I was like this is stupid. It just shows what kind of weakl and emotional person he is. no ruler or king would allowing the former royal family to live. people who have claimed your throne and you let them live is one of the dumbest things you can possibly do. Your character is leave a legitimate threat to his rule live. Not to mention it almost feels like you’ve awarded your enemy. What you should have done was cut off Roberts arms and legs kept him alive chained to your throne then you should have taxed every rebel kingdom half of their total income and require the death of one in every ten adults males. That execution needs to be carried out by the actual ruling family of each territory. What do even better do what his ancestors did and completely wipe out those houses and put loyal houses to rule those areas instead.

May be a rebellion in modern days but not in feudal times he just won a war he crushed his enemies he had supremacy. Now he needed to show what consequences come from rebellion. Yes I would agree with you in modern days that is a guy to start a rebellion. But in medieval times those actions were used by some of the most ruthless and domineering kings in history. Look at what Edward the first did to Wales after he conquered them or would Alexander the great did to any city states that defied him.
Yes right now they’re gonna say whatever they need to because they’re in the losing side. This is the time when he has all the power that he needs to match his role and get rid of future rebels. He didn’t come there to a negotiating table he still has all the strength if he was going there to negotiate peace when they’re equals then I can understand him acting this way. if nothing changes what’s stopping them from rebelling. What is stopping a Lannister or Baratheon in the future saying that at one time my ancestors sat on the iron throne so I have a legitimate claim to the throne. That has happened in the history of the real world. He should be raising his men who fight for him into these positions and stripping these other houses of theirs.
