I read the opening 60 chapters of this novel. That said, this story is quite surprising. I always wondered why vampires would suck all the human's blood instead of cultivating it in a symbiotic relationship, at least. In the movie 'Blade the vampire hunter', a human 'farm' for blood production was shown, and this was the closest I have come to a pragmatic method for a vampire to produce blood without harming humans on a large scale. The idea of a city where humans and vampires can live together was a very good one. I just didn’t understand why he didn’t set mandatory monthly blood donations or something like that. I don't see why to delay this topic, since blood donation doesn't harm the donor or cause a vampire to attack them from hunger. It is interesting to note that the relationship between vampires and humans, although representing a certain harmony, is quite fragile. Since humans know it is only a matter of when, before vampires feed and it hasn't been expliced about how this would be done. It makes me think that they are feeling very insecure at the moment.
